How much does a new boiler cost in Swindon?
As a guide, a straight combi swap starts from around £2,195 fitted, and conversions or system boilers with a cylinder cost more. Every home is different, so we give you a fixed price in writing after a free survey. These are example prices for this demo site.
Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes. Every engineer who works on a gas appliance for us is on the Gas Safe Register and carries their ID card. You can ask to see it at the door.
Which areas do you cover?
Swindon and the surrounding villages, including Wroughton, Highworth, Royal Wootton Bassett, Purton, Chiseldon, Stratton St Margaret and Blunsdon. If you're just outside, ask anyway.
Can you come out the same day?
For breakdowns, often yes. We keep time free every day for no-heating and no-hot-water calls. Emergency call-outs run 7 days a week, 7am to 10pm.
How long does a boiler installation take?
Most like-for-like combi swaps take one day. Converting from a system with tanks in the loft to a combi, or moving the boiler, usually takes two days.
Do I need my boiler serviced every year?
Yes. Most manufacturers need an annual service to keep the warranty valid, and it catches problems before they turn into breakdowns. Landlords also need a gas safety check every year by law.
What if I smell gas?
Leave the property, don't use switches or naked flames, and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. It's free and open 24 hours. Once it's safe, we can fix the appliance.
